6:42 pm	Kittens! Work was pretty eventfull. I made 27 Agar plates for the last lesson of the day. Following the instructions on the recipie car got me no-wherer. The mixture was too weak and didnt set. It took me 2 hours to make too. ah well. I chucked it out and started again. Luckily i had plenty time seing as i started so early... The second batch had twice as much of the agar powder in it and it set. not perfectly but good enough for the experiment. this second batch took over an hour to make. The teacher used 3! Three of the fucking things... I only made 29!!!! BASTARDS! they'll probably go off before Thursday (when they are needed again) Also today I had a training session. My arms are a bit 'bleh' it'll be ok by tonight tho. Lara left her phones at home today, so i couldn't call her at work or anything :( I spoke to her just after my training session tho :) Tonight I shall be mostly in the pub. Got a call from young Lad demanding a drinking session. he's probably got that £30 he owes me so i'll pretty much be drinking for free ( I didnt really expect the money back you see, but he got his student loan in and has cash to burn :p ) Current Mood: tired (Comment on this)

9:29 pm	Work was crap - as usual. I cleaned the Pestles and Mortars ready for the 1st lesson. They smelt strongly of garlic. I'm not sure why, no garlic had been anywhere near them. Anyway, washing them made me quite hungry but i had to wait before lunch... Looking at the pile of tin trays from the chip shop didnt help matters. I cleaned one of the benches in my prep room today. It took me almost 2 hours to get home today. Fucking strikers... Was I on strike? No i bloody wasnt. Mainly because I didnt bother joining a union... Anyway, I got on the shittybus and it took 40 mins just to get near town. There was an idiot woman infront of me forpart of the journey. She had one of those flip phones. She opened it pressed a few buttons and closed it again - canceling whatever it was doing... She did this about 30 times. I was close to grabing it of her and throwing it out the window while screaming obscenities... Stupid people shouldnt be allowed phones... Anyway, I got off the shittybus just near the Carling Academy and walked into town. I stopped at Forbidden planet to see if Sonia was there - she wasn't... then i went to the bank to get a bit of cash out so i could buy 'Maid Marian' on DVD. I did this and made my way to 'the local' It used to be Threshers, but they renamed it... god knows why... Anyway, I bought a bottle of Absinthe and got long-changed ( hooray! a free Fiver :D ) the girl who served me couldnt tell the difference between £5 and £10. Once in the confines of my home I spoke to my favourite girl for a bit then I started to watch my brand new DVD.... and drink some absinthe of course... The DVD was good. I havent seen it in ages. It was just as good as i remembered. Anyway, I also realised I had only 94 meg of space left on my hard drive - this is very bad considering i've filled 115GB since last august. I logged onto WoW for a bit and got some glitch - looked kinda like lightning forks - but they were the colours of what was around me... I logged out again after that and watched South Park. Next on the agenda was make CD's for Lara. I've made 4 now. I think theres meant to be another but I cant remember. I'll ask later tonight. In other news, I had fish and chips (from the freezer) for dinner. I gave then a 7 out of 10. This is because the sauce on the baked beans was a little too liquidy and interfered slightly with my garlic sauce. I'm feeling tired already. cant really be arsed to move and get another drink. I've had enough Absinthe for tonight and cant reach anything except more Absinthe, Jack Daniels, flat Sprite or REALLY flat coke. My eyes are a bit sore... I've done too much looking today. I'm looking forward to going to Scarborough again on Friday. Only another 3 days before I get to see my old friends and girlfriend again. I'm going to play WoW for a little bit now I think. Bye! 11:59 pm	errrm the pub Spent the early afternoon helping my sister on Warcraft. She needed me to help her and her group of misfits do Sunken Temple. I met 3 Hordies on the way in so i killed them all. It was funny. They had no idea what was happening and all died horribly on the end of my swords. After I helped Lucy, I watched some of the shows I'd downloaded - 'Drawn Together', 'American Dad' and 'My Name is Earl' Played the game a bit more after that untill i had to have dinner... Decided that I couldnt be arsed with the game for the rest of the night and went to the pub with Lad. It was pissing it down. Just at the crosroads I found a frog - Lara decided it was to be named Elvis. It was fully grown and as randomly hopping about near the road. I rescued it and released it into a garden before it got hurt more (Lad had a hold of it for a second and it jumped out of his hands and landed face first on the pavement) It was ok tho :) Current Mood: awake (2 Comments |Comment on this)

11:00 pm	MOLTEN CORE!!! Work was crap. Nearly went to sleep on the crappy bus. My own fault really, I spend too long on the phone on an evening when i should be sleeping. But I like it. Anyway, Friday is usually Molten Core night. Tonight was no exception. We went in at 18:00 hours and cleared the whole of 'the core' up to the Fire Lord himself, Ragnaros. At 22:30 Ragnaros was declared officially dead. Success! It was my 1st time there seeing him down. I missed the last 2 times because I was with my girlfriend - somewhere id rather have been today. For some reason, It wasnt the buzz I'd expected. It felt like just another random boss as opposed to the super powerfull Fire Elemental he is supposed to be... I die myself when Ragnaros was at 30% but still after the battle i was on top of the damage tables. I am the highest DPS-er in the guild (the way it should be) Anyway. I've drunk 12 cans of Carling and am feeling suitably drunk. I'm gonna help Corrado get herself a Sprite Darter Hatchling then I'm off to bed ( Hooray! 5:02 pm	I filled all the bottles of bench acid at work today. I even managed to spray a bit of Nitric acid in my face - A message to myself that I should have been wearing goggles. I'm ok tho, I dont think it went in my eye, I would have known about it... I washed it out anyway, just in case. Despite this mishap Nitric acid is fast becoming my favourite of the generic Bench acids. I have a workout session in 50 mins. I'm not really looking forward to it, but then i haven't been recently. I shall be playing Warcraft tonight i think, and drinking Jack and flat coke. I suppose i could get a fresh bottle... but they are downstairs and I'll probbly forget when i crawl back to my computer after the session. I have got the latest episode of Invasion to watch also. Last one i saw was 2 weeks ago. Up to episode 15 now (mine come from america) - I cant be bothered to wait till a set time on TV for anything... 11:22 pm	I went to work today... it was crap. I'd much rather have been sleeping. Watched a crazy film I downloaded called Wildflower. I remember wathching it on TV very late one night over a year ago. Its a good movie - its got a young Reese Wetherspoon and Patricia Arquette in it.
